Michael Jordan recently commented on LeBron James’ offer to retire #23 league wide. Jordan cited the fact that he was not the only great player in the NBA, and if his jersey was retired, it would also mean retiring the jerseys of Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, and Bill Russell. Will LeBron retire his #23 as a personal gesture or remain the newest superstar to wear Michael’s number? Only time will tell.
