We’re in love with you! The “we” being Columbus ALIVE! magazine. Yeah we came in behind LOST and The National but look at those floaters in our wake. Half Priced Tiki Drinks, The Deftones, the guy that played Kelly Leak in The Bad News Bears and the stuff that you sigh having to pay an extra $1.25 for at Chipotle beacuse yes, it’s awesome. Good lookin’ out Columbus!

After the positive response to our first NoYork tee, we’ve decided to release a new “limited edition” design inspired by the 80s Cavs jerseys. The new design is printed on the same buttery soft American Apparel 100% cotton tee as the first design. The new design is only available in men’s sizes M, L, and XL and the quantity on the first run is limited. To order a shirt click on our Official NoYork Tee section in the upper right hand side of the blog.
Once upon a time there was a Cavs fan. He was a regular guy just like me and you. One day he happened upon a blog that he thought was cool. He decided to buy a t shirt from that cool blog. The shirt was shipped promptly and when he received the shirt, he thought “cool.”
The shirt had arrived just in time for the New York game. The man set out for the Q and all the stop lights were green. Once he arrived at the arena he watched as other fans slipped on ice while walking. He did not slip when he walked. The man looked down at his shirt approvingly and knew there was a reason he had above average traction.
Once inside the arena complete strangers looked at his shirt and he could tell they were thinking, “That’s a cool shirt.” He was very happy with himself and the shirt. As he walked towards his seat he glanced to his right and saw two Cavalier girls. He could tell they were looking at his shirt, so he made eye contact. They quickly waved him over and asked him if they could take a picture. A friend of one of the Cavalier girls took the picture at the top of this post and quickly posted it to every social media site on the internet.
After a Cavs victory the man returned to his home. He had a microwave dinner and reflected on his night. He decided that the shirt he bought was cool and that he had made a good decision.
This entire story is entirely true.
Props to these people for rocking the NoYork tees to the Heat game tonight. I’ve never seen this many NoYork shirts together on actual humans (there are tons at my house waiting to be shipped). Thanks to everyone for supporting the NoYork movement.
Thanks to Rob Matheson and Ben Suitt for supporting NoYork at the Heat game. Both of these guys with terrific taste in tees are from Columbus and both are lifetime Cavs fans. We appreciate all your support!
During the LA game there was a NoYork supporter spotted behind the basket. While you were watching Andy ice the game with his key free throws, I had my eyes in the stands. He’s on screen for a split second, but hey it’s YouTube worthy right?
Thanks to everyone who has supported the NoYork movement thus far!
There are a couple odds and ends that deserve mentioning. First off we now have women’s shirts available for purchase. Our women’s shirts come in sizes small, medium, and large. For women’s sizing charts visit our shirt info page.
Next we’d like to thank Rude Retro for blogging about NoYork. The review was great and we are always appreciative when people support our movement. A portion of Rude Retro’s post described our shirts this way, “A $20 American Apparel tee with a simple but cool design and a strong size of support for the cause…you can’t go wrong.” That’s what we think too!!! Thanks again to Rude Retro. Check out the full post here.
The last update is about another blog that was recently posted about NoYork. I was studying my YouTube channel (which I might do a little too often) and found that Emmcee Blog had embedded one of our NoYork videos. I went to check out the post only to discover that the blog was written in Icelandic. I quickly went to google’s translate page and converted the post to English.
“NoYork.com the web that maintains campaign against a possible evacuation LeBron James from Cleveland to New York. Intelligent life what NBA players, their decisions and even their possible decisions can have a major impact on the lives of many. Some have also only just too much free time.”
This post is probably my favorite so far. For starters it’s in a different language, which I think is very cool. Next, it’s clear that our cause is understood. But the part that I enjoyed the most was the irony in the, “Some have also only just too much free time,” statement. The wordplay involved in saying that, having too much free time was the reason we created this blog, when the reality is that reason we have no free time is because we created this blog, is beautiful irony.
In closing I would like to say takk fyrir að blogga um vefinn okkar og styðja valdið okkar. Hafðu LeBron í Cleveland
There were at least two NoYork shirts amongst all the LeBron James New York Knicks jerseys tonight at Madison Square Garden. We would like to thank all the people who support our movement to Keep Him in Cleveland. Special thanks to those who wore their shirts to MSG tonight and made an appearance on ESPN.
(See the man taking a picture with the grey long sleeves under his NoYork shirt?)
Special thanks to Justin Kadis who supported the movement by wearing his NoYork shirt to The Garden on Friday night. Although he didn’t make it on camera he’s still a hero in our book!

I can see it now, Mick Boogie rocking our shirt in New York!
Former Cavaliers DJ and Ohio native Mick Boogie recently blogged about our NoYork tees. Mick Boogie is an internationally known mixtape composer who’s collaborated with Jay-Z, Eminem, and Talib Kweli. We appreciate the shout out. Check it out here.

The C- was a bit harsh, but at least he'd wear it!
Vince Grzegorek, of The Sporting News’ blog First Cuts, recently featured NoYork.com tees on his blog. He commented on the number of “LeBron/Cleveland/Stay Here websites” that are popping up on the internet. Then he graded our shirt. We got B’s for originality and price, but suffered in the relevance category only getting a C- (citing that lots of teams will be rumored to be after LeBron) Our design did earn us an A, and Vince said he’d wear one of our shirts. Nice!

Glen good looking out!!!
NoYork has been featured on the LeBron2010 blog. Special thanks to Glen Infante for blogging about our site. We appreciate the support of an established “Keep LeBron in Cleveland” website. If you haven’t already been to the site check it out LeBron2010
