LeBron on Nightline

Here’s LeBron’s interview that was shown on Nightline late last night. I’m not a fan of the whole give LeBron a Knicks hat. I mean we’re already competing with the president, give us a break.

2010 King James Shooting Stars Classic

From April 23-25th some of the best high school talent in the nation was in Akron for the 2010 King James Shooting Stars Classic. The tournament, named after LeBron’s AAU team, is quickly becoming one of the largest events in the country. This year 618 teams competed at sites throughout the Akron area. Having this many teams in Akron is estimated to have brought over 5 million dollars to the local economy. Even when LeBron is in Chicago winning a playoff series he’s giving back to his hometown.

NoYork Fan video of LeBron’s House and Playoff Game

This video was sent to us by lifelong Cavs fan Trent Thompson. Not only did Trent rock his NoYork shirt to the Cavs first playoff game against the Bulls, he got us footage of downtown Cleveland and LeBron’s mansion. If any fans have footage they’d like to see on NoYork or photos in NoYork tees, we’d be glad to post you up on our blog. Thanks again to Trent.

LeBron Posters James Johnson

I’m not sure if I enjoyed the dunk more or the commentary. Both Reggie and Marv stepping up their announcing for this one. Can you believe Marv didn’t pull out his famous “serves up a facial line?” Keep on rolling Cavs!!!!

LeBron loves Ohio

With LeBron saying these kind of things, can we really believe he will leave us?

LeBron’s shining moment…

Since LeBron decided to skip college he never got his one shining moment. Sure he has won an MVP and been in some all star games, but there’s nothing like the college experience. It’s been rumored that a single tear rolls down LeBron’s face every March because he was never in the world’s most touching video montage. We here at NoYork would like to ease that pain for Bron. So here you go man, hope this takes a bit of the edge off for you…

LeBron’s baseline attack on Philly

So if LeBron’s alley oop dunk from a week ago and tonight’s dunk were his first two dunks in the 2010 Dunk Contest, he would have won the whole competition. No matter where LeBron goes next year, I hope that he ends up in the 2011 dunk contest.

Leon Powe’s first basket for the Cavs

Here’s Leon Powe’s first basket as a Cavalier. Through four games Leon has been a solid contributor averaging 4.3 points and 3.3 rebounds in 14 minutes per contest. Powe was a great acquisition in my opinion. He’s a very solid role player who will come in handy during the playoffs. It’s tough coming off an injury but I have faith that Leon will be one of the small pieces that make championship teams complete.

Antawn Jamison Early Cavs Highlights

Here are some of Antawn’s early Cavs highlights. I didn’t know he had that dunk in him, but I’m glad to see him coming out strong.

There are some people who were upset that we didn’t pick up Stoudemire. Yeah he would have been great, but he would have definitely cost us JJ. Instead we get an all star caliber player in exchange for a late first round draft pick. This was a steal of a deal!

LeBron’s head at the rim alley-oop vs Knicks

LeBron is always capable of something insane like this. Every night he steps on the court he could make history. Don’t miss it!
